Pucung Gangsal Prakawis

Seperti ditulis oleh Tiyo Widodo dalam Kompasiana.com

Nagri iki
saweg nandhang cidra ati
kathah durangkara
ngalor-ngidul gara-gara
yen sinawang
kaya ngelak banyu abang

Laku becik
kudune mituwuh apik
nanging sing kalakon
satuhu ora kebathon
kang prasetya
kapilara kapidana
Lembah manah
prayogane nggebyah uyah
panggalih kang edi
kudune mepeti werdi
sing ginawa
lathi alus lan wibawa
Slira manteb
rasa lantip ati landhep
sabarang prakara
ora sirna kanthi mawa
sareh mikir
durjana bakal sumingkir
Titi wanci
mlakune tan ana mati
pratikna ing karep
rumatana nganti jangkep
teteg puguh
kasembatan ing panggayuh

Silence the Noise

In the crowds of hundreds commuters
mind was busy thinking
what for it's being there
where ears  continued going banged
by the shouts of decibels

At the corner of the sidewalks
down the Metro of ambushes
to blow your nerves
still the will couldn't give in the wheels

Justice in the loaded barrels
it's what being applied when you're on the street
as you're on your own
there'll be no one but you
to step aside the bumpy roads

As the crowds went nasty and mean
it's on your feet how the walk be made
just like in your vessels where the blood be flown

Stone cold River

A river splits the valley
its length is so distant as it may be
up the stream couple miles away
as you walk up there on your naked feet

Through the downstream where bushes lie
and stony road built in between
only a few dares take the risks
where misty field keeps silent still
where ghosts and beasts keep marching on

And the valley remains unchanged
in purity which never be ashamed
and the river endures the name
no one takes chance except who dares

Believe In Your Heart (Stacey Chillemi)

 Poet: Stacey Chillemi

I woke up one night in the hours of darkness,
I sat up straight in my bed to find a shimmering light in my closet,
But their where no lights on in the room,
I got up and went slowly toward the closet,
To find a pair of gold wings,
An angel was standing by my side,
“What do I do with these gold wings?” I asked the angel
“Put the wings on my child.” Answered the angel
I put the wings on flew to a place that had many stars,
The angel then appeared and said, “Follow your heart, your goals and your dreams.”
Only you know what is right for you
Anything is possible
Miracles do come true ,
Hope and dreams are a reality if let them be,
Life can be wonderful if you let it be,

Lembayung Bali

Performed by Saras Dewi

Menatap lembayung di langit Bali
Dan kusadari betapa berharga kenanganmu
Di kala jiwaku tak terbatas
Bebas berandai memulang waktu

Hingga masih bisa kuraih dirimu
Sosok yang mengisi kehampaan kalbuku
Bilakah diriku berucap maaf
Masa yang tlah kuingkari dan meninggalkanmu
Oh cinta

Teman yang terhanyut arus waktu
Mekar mendewasa
Masih kusimpan suara tawa kita
Kembalilah sahabat lawasku
Semarakkan keheningan lubuk

Hingga masih bisa kurangkul kalian
Sosok yang mengaliri cawan hidupku
Bilakah kita menangis bersama
Tegar melawan tempaan semangatmu itu
Oh jingga

Hingga masih bisa kujangkau cahaya
Senyum yang menyalakan hasrat diriku
Bilakah kuhentikan pasir waktu
Tak terbangun dari khayal keajaiban ini
Oh mimpi

Andai ada satu cara
Tuk kembali menatap agung surya-Mu

Footprint on Your Heart (Gary Lenhart)

Someone will walk into your life,
Leave a footprint on your heart,
Turn it into a mudroom cluttered
With encrusted boots, children's mittens,
Scratchy scarves—
Where you linger to unwrap
Or ready yourself for rough exits
Into howling gales or onto
Frozen car seats, expulsions
Into the great outdoors where touch
Is muffled, noses glisten,
And breaths stab,
So that when you meet someone
Who is leaving your life
You will be able to wave stiffIcy mitts and look forward
To an evening in spring
When you can fold winter away
Until your next encounter with
A chill so numbing you strew
The heart's antechamber
With layers of rural garble.
